    Graduated the spring of 2023 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education with a Reading Endorsement from Morningside University. Certified in PEERS for Adolescents Social Skills. Plan on continuing education for Masters Degree to become a BCBA.

    Is a member of the softball team at Morningside, has three adorable dogs and a big lover of coffee!

    Enjoys working with kids and helping them grow to become their best self through kindness, compassion and respect!

    I am married, the mother of 3 adult children, and a new grandmother of one beautiful granddaughter. I enjoy camping, ice and open water fishing with my family, reading, going to thrift stores and decorating my house with vintage treasures. I provided in-home daycare for 10 years, then became a special education paraprofessional working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additionally, II was in charge of the after-school program for 8 years.

    Hi, my name is Carley Hofmeister, I am a Behavior Technician. I went to Northeast Community College for two years studying Agronomy. I was in the agricultural field for 3 years before joining Become Best. I am certified in CPR and I have been a Volunteer FireFighter for 6 years. I enjoy camping, being outside with friends and family, and going to Okoboji in the summer. I have a pet pig named Duke and he loves belly rubs and cheerios!

    Hello, my name is Ashley Friessen. I recently graduated with a bachelors degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Disability Services from The University of South Dakota. I am looking to receive my Masters in Occupational Therapy to pursue my passion on making a positive impact on others lives.

    I am so grateful to be here at Become BEST and be apart of such a great team to provide the care and support each client deserves!

    I graduated in the Spring of 2023 from the University of South Dakota. I received an undergraduate degree in Social Work, and I am in the process of going back to school for my Masters of Social Work degree. I will be taking on another role as an intern at Become BEST through this school year.

    I love working with kids, and I am very blessed to be a part of their journey here at Become BEST. I am thrilled to see what the future holds for myself and all of our amazing kids!

    Hi, my name is Bailey Wilson. I graduated in 2023 from Sioux City East High School. I am currently a Behavior Technician at Become BEST, working towards becoming an RBT, and hope to continue my education in Behavior Analysis. I also work for Sunnybrook Community Church for our special needs ministry, Unlimited.

    Outside of the clinic… you can find me on a drive, shopping, playing pickle ball, or spending time with friends and family. I am so thankful to be part of the BEST team!

    Hello! My name is Sam Moritz, I Received platinum directors list award upon graduation from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, and I Previously worked for Experis as a QA tester at Microsoft.

    I like technology and fixing things, in my free time, i enjoy playing games, listening to or making music, camping, or playing card games.

    Its a blessing working for all of these amazing kids!

    Previously worked at a resort in Arizona for over 3yrs.

    My husband and I had our first son in November of 2019, and he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in November of 2021. Thankfully, we were able to find Become, BEST the following summer and it truly has been life-changing for our little one.

    I am the mother of two boys and just recently welcomed twin girls to the family. You won't see me much at the office, except for drop off and pick up for my oldest, but I am in constant contact with all our families.

    I previously worked for South Sioux Schools for 12 years.

    I am the mother of 2 boys and 2 girls.

    I keep busy with after school sports, after school activities and taking my youngest to different therapies.

    My hobbies include reading, cleaning, and podcasts.

    My youngest son was born in 2017, in March of 2022 he was officially diagnosed with ASD.

    I have been working at Become BEST since July 2023. I am lucky to say I wake up and go to work in a place I enjoy. I am even luckier that I am able to work in the same amazing place that my child receives services at, and I know he is in great hands!
